Gunes Gocmen

Gunes Gocmen began his career in 2010 and has built years of valuable experience in the animation industry. Since 2017, he focused primarily on creature-led feature films, driven by a strong passion for feature film work. His experience also includes short films and commercials.

He spent 9 years at Framestore in London, contributing to major productions for studios such as Disney and Warner Bros., among others.

Over the years, Gunes has observed major shifts in the industry. He believes that if 2D animators were replaced by 3D animators in the past, then it is likely that 3D animators will now increasingly be replaced by AI-driven animation in the years ahead. With this perspective, he has chosen to focus his creativity and long-term energy on building something of his own.

Gunes is now dedicating himself fully to developing EGGcraft, a company born from what was once a personal interest in watches. Today, he is focused on building the brand with the same care, discipline, and creative ambition that shaped his film career. He continues to live in London with his wife.
